Portisco (Olbia – Sardegna)
THE COSTA SMERALDA GATEWAY Portisco is a village that is part of the town of Olbia, in the province of Sassari. It is located near the Gulf of Cugnana and a few hundred meters from the sea-line from Porto Rotondo. Although it was not a very populated place, in recent years, Portisco has become known at the national level thanks to the construction of the modern and well-equipped marina, the Portisco Marina, which is also used by mega yachts that sail towards Costa Smeralda. However, the growth has also affected tourist accommodation units, mainly due to the strategic position of Portisco, halfway between the two most important resorts of the Costa, namely Porto Rotondo and Porto Cervo. Luxurious homes and villas, in fact, occupy the area around the beach areas, largely populated by numerous seaside resorts. The beach, however, offers a landscape of great beauty, with very suggestive color schemes. |
